It always looks a little corny or like some sort of link hacking method that is too good to be true when I read about generating money on most websites.

However, there are some excellent people that perform it correctly. I'll list some of them in the video below and share my list of the top 10 real, motivational, helpful, and fun methods to make money online. 

A way that fills you up not by the amount of money in your bank account (because if you do it right, it can be A LOT), but by the emails you get from clients about how you changed their lives, or when you meet an online client in person and they have tears streaming down their face as they tell you that YOU helped them achieve their dreams!

I want you to feel how strong it is because it's such a strong sensation.

But doing it well, in a way that supports others as well as your vision, requires knowledge on how to accomplish it. 

1.  Teaching and Training  

I've been doing it for the past five years, and this is my preferred method. Due to the enormous success that they witnessed from University of Phoenix, which established the standard for online education, practically every major university has been doing this (taking their classes online). With her hugely successful online school, B-School, my close friend Marie Forleo is a wonderful illustration of how much simpler it is than ever for businesses and entrepreneurs to create online schools.

2. Offering a Service 

Since you don't need to make any initial investments, offering a service can be the simplest method to get started. Ian Robinson, the editor of my podcast, aids podcast producers in editing their programs to raise the caliber of the final product. There are many various ways to offer a service; all it takes is awareness of your strengths and the problems you can solve for others.

3. Creating and Selling Products 

You may bundle your knowledge into a book, course, software, audio program, DVD, etc. if you have competence in ANYTHING. Webinars are the most effective approach to spread the news and sell these items.

 4. Membership Sites and Continuity Programs

Ramit Sethi is a different champion in this field who I greatly admire. He has a fantastic continuity program (Ramit's Brain Trust) and every month gives his fervent community pertinent knowledge. His smart guidance benefits the community, which pays him on a recurring basis to maintain access to the resources and the community. The appeal of this business strategy is that you may sell something once and receive payments each month. 

5. Affiliate Marketing

Nick Reese has done a fantastic job at creating websites, creating excellent searchable content, and selling things on his sites from other individuals. On each sale or lead he refers to the business, he receives a commission. Consequently, he never had to develop his own product in order to grow his company (he has since branched out into other areas that you can check out on his new site). Pat Flynn also excels at this, and he even provides a breakdown of the monthly revenue he receives from his affiliates.

 6. Building a Site and Selling Ads

At this, Derek Halpern is a BEAST. Millions of people visited the celebrity gossip website that SocialTriggers' founder, who is legendary, founded years ago, and he used that traffic to sell advertising. Another illustration is Tina Su of ThinkSimpleNow.com, who excels at this while disseminating motivational personal development material.

 7. Selling Sponsorships for Branded Content

John Lee Dumas tells about how he makes over $50,000 each month by selling sponsorships on his show. This can be accomplished through a video program, podcast, or specialized website. Find sponsors that will be drawn to your audience by building your brand around your passion.

 8. Events

Both online and offline event planning and promotion may be quite lucrative. Michael Stelzner began with a straightforward blog a few years ago and now hosts both online summits and live events with thousands of attendance.

 9. Masterminds and Coaching

Jonathan Fields is a member of the Integrity Podcast Network and an inspirational change builder. He is the founder of the Good Life Project and offers expensive year-round retreats and continuing counseling in far-off places. Jonathan has perfected the ability of doing both online and offline, so this can be done any way. 

10. Getting Creative 

One imaginative entrepreneur is Jason Sadler, currently going under the name Jason SurfrApp. Through IwearYourShirt.com, he exploited his internet platform to earn money by donning company shirts. He now makes around $50,000 a year from selling his last name, sells sponsor pages in his new book, and keeps pushing the boundaries of what may be made by being creative.
